Here's the birthday girl on her actual birthday, looking all cute in her shades and new dress!
Today was her well child appointment. She lucked out and didn't have any vaccinations, but both girls got a flu shot which they did not handle well! Anyway, Savannah is 30 lbs. That puts her in the 50% for weight. She is 38 3/4", which is the 95th percentile.
Overall she is a very healthy little girl. I did mention to the doctor that once she started to finally talk, she's done pretty well and made steady progress as far as her vocabulary & clarity. However, we've noticed over the past few weeks it seems like she's gone backwards and gone back to where we can't understand her quite a bit. That concerned the doc, so she checked her ears for fluid. She did have fluid in one ear. The ear wasn't infected, just had fluid which can effect hearing and therefore speech. We are supposed to start her on a nightly allergy medication and then if we don't see progress in 3 weeks, we need to go see a specialist to get things checked out. Let's just hope it's a little stage!
