Bunco

Friday was my night to host the neighborhood girls' bunco.  I had several neighbors helping me out so it was a really easy job.  I was lucky enough to have the house cleaners come the day of and I had cooked all my food the day before.  Katie came by to pick up the girls to let them have a sleep over at her apartment about 3 o'clock.  Bunco didn't start until 7 so I had a few hours to just relax and get ready with a quiet, empty house!

The way we do it, is the hosts provide the food and everyone brings their own wine or whatever they want to drink.  There was 4 of us that are pregnant so I made a non-alcoholic punch too.  Right before the party I decided to pull down all the flavored vodkas we have.  People started mixing the vodkas with my punch so that along with the wine and jello shots made for a fun night to say the least.  All the food was really good and we had a lot of fun.  Justin cleaned up the empties this morning and threw away 10 wine bottles and 4 vodka bottles!  I'd say this was definitely one of the wilder buncos.  I think everyone was ready to celebrate Halloween...I had to kick the last stragglers out at 1:15!
