I keep baby Maddie MWF and haven't wanted to take her out in the sun too much. Dylan was going to school T/Th so we haven't had a chance to get out and enjoy the pretty weather. Now that school is over I am ready for summer activities! Our neighborhood pool opened last weekend, but I ended up getting so sick. Today I finally had the opportunity to take my girls to a nearby Splash Pad and soak up some sun! I LOVED every minute of it!!
The splash pad is at a city park. All you have to do is walk up and hit a button to turn the water on. It's so nice because you can just sit back and let the kids go without having to be right with them. Unfortunately, Savannah wasn't too into running around and wanted to sit with me the whole time. It ended up being fine because she took it upon herself to be the 'button pusher' to keep the water going for everyone.
Dylan was playing and then spotted her friend, Jetta, from school. She was very happy and had fun playing with her!
In other news, I decided to really start working on potty training with Savannah yesterday. Overall, it was an epic fail, but I haven't given up....yet. :)
