What we've been up to....

Last week seems like a blur!  Dylan and Cameron attended VBS in Grapevine.  I tried to take a picture of the girls before she went in for the first day.

This is silly of Savannah...
and now Dylan has her eyes closed - ha!
Katie moved to Arlington last weekend.  The kids got to see lots of each other over the weekend and on Tuesday after school we met up with Katie and Sue for lunch at Rain Forest Cafe.  Then we did a little shopping.  That night we also had a yummy dinner with Katie and Sue!
Thursday night we had Dylan's end of season soccer party.  Aren't they cute?
My mom came Friday midday for a conference, but was able to spend part of the day with us.  Unfortunately, baby Maddie was having a rough day and I wasn't in the best mood! :)  She took us to dinner that night at Baja Southlake and it was delicious!  Saturday morning Justin worked in Denton and then headed to load up Jeff and Angel's new furniture.  The plan was for me to meet everyone over there for lunch.  Dylan woke up early because she was still on VBS schedule so I actually left the house a lot earlier than I would have.  UGH - construction traffic was a nightmare and it took me 1:45 minutes to get to their house!!  We grabbed lunch.  Angel and I did a little shopping, then we ran by Old Navy to pick up swimsuits.  We met my dad at his awesome hotel and did a little swimming.  It was WONDERFUL.  My dad and Justin took over girl duties and I was able to lay out!  That night we ate at Mi Cocina - yum.  The girls were promised dessert, but wouldn't have liked what was served so we headed over to McDonald's...
This is when Dylan infamously proclaimed her ice cream was better than Jesus!  OMG - that child!!
Early Sunday morning my dad and Justin played Cowboy's golf course and then my dad headed back to his hotel to rest for the rest of his conference's activities.  My mom headed over as soon as her stuff was done on Sunday and we spent the afternoon at the neighborhood pool.  She agrees with me that it's great!  For dinner that night we ate one last meal out at Plucker's before mom headed to the airport.  It was a busy, but wonderful weekend.

The girls and I are still doing the summer movies on Tuesday mornings.  Yesterday I had to make it to Wal-Mart afterwards before I could feed them lunch so for the first time I bought them the kids' snacks.  They were so excited.  Silly girls!!
Today is most likely my last day to keep baby Maddie and then we start our insanely busy month!
And lastly, the girls love to 'sing' along with this song on one of their movies.  It makes me laugh every single time and last night we finally got it on video!
