MAN, this has been a busy season for us. We start each year out thinking it is going to finally be a low key year, but then every year seems to be busier than the one before! That's okay - we love it!! Last weekend Justin went to a bachelor party in Austin and then went to NYC Tuesday through Thursday. I have to admit that him being gone was so much smoother than I imagined. This proud mommy has to brag because our girls were SO, SO good making my life easy! Our sweet neighbors pretty much adopted me and the girls while Justin was away and two of the husbands even kept our girls along with their own kids so the wives could have a Girls Night Out!
With us having so much going on, summer was starting to slip away with out us going to the pool! Well I changed that!! We've gone to a splash pad, a friend's neighborhood pool as we as our own pool several times. I LOVE IT! Put me in the sun, near water and I am in heaven!
The kids getting 'read their rights' before the moms took off! We did make it as easy as possible on the dads before we left and took care of dinner and the baby was close to going to bed...

Our neighborhood pool is wonderful! There is a separate kids pool that is 1' deep so while they are in there, we can just relax (for the most part!).
The big pool is only 3'6" deep, but has a shelf you can set lawn chairs in and be half in the water....perfect!
My beauty queen picked out her own outfit and informed me how she wanted the scarf tied.
I told her to get up and pose for a picture and lil sis was right up there too!
Katie's big move here is today so we plan to help out a little and then go to dinner tonight, tomorrow is Father's Day, next weekend my parents are in town for work, but have free time to eat with us, then the 5 weekends in July we are either out of town or have company! Whew - I am tired just thinking about it, but it sure is going to be fun!!
