Yesterday I hauled the girls to a big antique mall in search of chairs to go with the kitchen table we inherited. It was EXHAUSTING! They had one of those carts that is a car for the kids and the girls took turns riding in it while the other had to walk. I had to constantly make sure they didn't break something. We where there almost two hours and I carried Savannah for about the last 45 minutes. I thought it was kind of weird she wanted me to hold her instead of taking her turn in the car. It was so hard to carry her, steer the car cart with one hand and make sure I didn't run into anyone or anything! But then things got harder because Savannah fell asleep and was just dead weight. I carried her asleep for probably 30 minutes. I was SO frustrated. I had no way of getting the chairs I wanted and handle the girls so I had to go to the front and ask for help. The problem was that I found 4 different chairs in 4 different booths hidden somewhere in the maze of that mall. It took us forever to find them again! Now I want a 5th chair I saw so we are going back again today. Anyway, the point of this post was that while we where there the kids really were so good and Dylan saw this makeup case that she had her heart set on and I couldn't say no. The girls were so cute last night organizing all their makeup, fingernail polish and lip glosses. Dylan asked if they could paint their toenails and I said no. I didn't think anything else about it. Next thing we know, Savannah is sticking her feet through the rails upstairs saying, "I did this!" Check it out for yourself...
And a mischievous grin to go along with the toes!
