Fun!

We, as usual, have been keeping busy.  I haven't been very good about taking pictures though - guess I've been having too much fun!  Last weekend Sue and Papa John came to visit us and all the grandkids.  We went to eat at Cowboy Chow in Roanoke, which I love.  Saturday, Dylan had a soccer game and scored her first official goal!  (Nevermind it was in the wrong one!)  We headed to Jeff and Angel's house for the rest of the weekend and had a good time just hanging out!

Last week was my first week to start keeping a neighbor's baby for the summer.  I just had her Monday and Wednesday and she is such a good girl!  Paul and Michelle drove in Friday night to come visit the girls for the weekend.  Unfortunately, they couldn't get on the road until after work so it was later when they got here, but we had no problem keeping ourselves entertained until they got here.  The weather was beautiful so we hung out in the street while the kids played a little baseball.  The next morning Dylan had another game and scored another goal!  (Wrong goal again!!)  Overall, it was her best game yet.  It seemed like she figured out how to be aggressive.  Hopefully she will remember - ha!  She is a lucky little girl.  In just a few games she has already had Opa, Mam, Sue, Papa John, Jeff, Angel, Cameron (twice), Cole, Paul, Michelle & Katie there to cheer for her!  She is having so much fun!!

Saturday afternoon/night we had a party at our house.  It was kind of a weird turnout as we several people RSVP yes and then not come!  Oh well, we still had a good turnout and had a steady crowd of people late into the night.  The weather stayed great and it turned out to be a great time!

Yesterday I had a wonderful Mother's Day.  We went to eat Mexican food with Paul and Michelle before they left town.  I was exhausted from the weekend so I was lucky enough to take a long nap - which I never do!  Dinner was my choice so we went to Pei Wei for the main course and Chili's for dessert! :)

Time certainly flies by, but we are enjoying every minute!

Dylan stylin' at practice.
One night the girls were supposed to be brushing their teeth, but decided to get into makeup instead.  This is Savannah's typical ornery expression.

Dylan was SO proud of herself after she packed her own lunch!
Great picture of Katie & Dylan after the game.
In Paul's words, Cole is the first baby that didn't cry when he held them :)
The girls had so much fun with each other and were SO good!
