Our BIG Day

This morning we had a meeting at Dylan's new soccer place to find out her team, practice time, etc.  She is on the Sidekicks!  We should get her game schedule Wednesday and her first practice is Thursday!  She is playing indoor soccer.  I am relieved because that means we don't have to sit in the heat, but on the other hand there is a play area & arcade.  Miss Savannah was go, go go in there!

From soccer we went straight to the church were Dylan goes to preschool.  They were having a family field day and it was a nice event.  Everyone was very friendly and it wasn't too crowded which made it so nice.  The girls had so much fun and we got a free lunch!

From there we were off to Academy to get Dylan soccer shorts, socks, shoes, shin guards and a ball!

 Savannah knocked on the shin guards several times to make sure they worked & that it didn't hurt.  :)

We had a mini soccer practice in the backyard and then it was nap time.  Only one problem....Savannah refused to nap!

We loaded back up and went to the Keller Crawfish Krawl.  It was in a cute area with live music and food that looked really good!  We had a few beers and then took the kids over to the kid area.  The bounce houses weren't near as good as earlier in the day because there were rough kids, with no one really regulating plus it cost us $4 a time!  We learned that even though they had a few kid things, it was really an event that would be much more enjoyable for adults only!  Although we planned to eat, by the time we were ready the line for food was SO long.  We used up the rest of our tickets getting the girls bubblegum italian ices.  On the walk back to the car, we passed a playground and let the girls play for a bit.  We stopped by Zaxby's on the way home and then it was bath time.  They are in bed early now for church and a neighbor's Master's watching party tomorrow!
