My parents came in for this past weekend. Friday night we met them by their hotel at Fox Sports Grill for dinner and then hung out at their hotel for a bit until we needed to get Savannah in bed. Dylan got to spend the night at the hotel both nights & thought she was pretty darn special. Saturday Angel kept Savannah while the rest of us went to Lone Star Park. Thank you Angel...there is no way Savannah would have sat at a table for hours! My dad got a package for a day at the races at a silent auction. It covered valet parking, our entrance both in the park and to an upper level, a great table up by the window and a buffet! We literally ate for hours!! It was so nice to be at a great table with food and drinks in air conditioning. It was way too hot to be outside.
I took Dylan outside for just a bit to look at the horses. In this picture she had just said, "the fountain is so beautiful!"
After the races we jumped in the pool. It was a perfect way to end the day.
Yesterday morning I got out of bed and found this...so sweet!
