Last weekend we were lucky enough for Sue and Papa John to take us all to Great Wolf Lodge. It was awesome! I didn't get pictures of the actual water park, but there was a cool reason for that. We got arm bands at check-in and they were good for everything...to get in the water park, food, drinks, into your room...everything! Because of that I didn't have to carry my purse or phone. At first it felt weird, but then it was SO nice!
The slides stayed open until 9 p.m. We got to be big kids and go on slides over and over until it closed because we had sweet family to take care of our girls for us. The girls got dressed in their jammies and went to story time. Apparently in addition to a bedtime story it was a promotion for their 'magic' game they had throughout the hotel. You buy magic wands and go in search of treasures, pictures, and books to activate with your wand. The girls had so much fun!
Saturday the guys played golf at Cowboys Golf Club and all the girls went to Rainforest Cafe. (Savannah wanted nothing to do with the big frog!).
It was such a fun, fast weekend!! We came home and crashed Sunday!
