Peace Day

Earlier in the school year Dylan had a little Peace Day presentation my mom and I attended.  It was actually the same day as Kindergarten Grandparent's Day so my mom was in town.  Oh, and they conveniently threw in the book fair (thanks for the books grandparents) and the school store.  They saw grandparents and their wallets coming - ha!
Anyway, the kids learned about peace, colored little pinwheels they got to put in the ground and then sang us some songs.  It was really cute, but the heat was intense!  All I could think about the whole time was the fact that Dylan had a jacket on - crazy girl.

Walking out with her class.
Like her 'hippie' headband?  Bare with us...they've had about 20 dress up days already so we work with what we have. :)
 Putting hers in the ground.
 Singing
I snuck in afterwards to get a close up of Dylan's work.
