Little Mister is Four Months Old!

Adam actually turned four months while we were in Amarillo, but we didn't get around to taking the pictures until we got home.  Adam continues to be a happy little baby.  He loves his big sisters and is very patient with them.  He LOVES to pull their hair (and mine), but luckily they don't get annoyed by it...yet.  

He has started to belly laugh and it is the most precious sound ever!  He loves his baby babble.  I swear it sounds like he says HI, but surely he's not!?!?  

If we take the time to give him an additional bottle before bed he will usually sleep until around 5 and then go back down after I feed him.  The few times he's gone swimming it seems to relax him.  In fact, the most recent time he went to sleep in the float!

Adam loves, loves, loves to kick!  We call him our little spaziod because he can really get going!  As I mentioned before, if we put him down on the play mat, he wiggles his way right off.  He does okay in the excer-saucer and walker, but doesn't love them just yet.  He still enjoys his swings and bouncy chair.  His favorite thing is to kick the toys on the bouncy chair.

As with all my kids, I never know when or for how long he will nap.  We just go with the flow.

He found his feet and grabs at them constantly.  He occasionally sticks his left foot in his mouth, but he is definitely right footed.

I felt so bad for him because he got a really bad ingrown toenail.  I tried soaking, neosporin, and vick's, but nothing seemed to help.  At his 4 month doctor's visit he was given a prescription, but the doctor said I could give it a few days before getting it filled incase it got better.  We spent time in the pool and I think maybe the pool water dried it up?  Poor little guy!

Also at his four month appointment he had an oral vaccine.  Apparently it tasted pretty bad and he was shooting the nurse some dirty looks.  He got two shots, screamed, quit crying as soon as I held him, but continued to 'gripe' all the way to the car.  He was MAD! :)

He weighed 14 pounds, 14 ounces which puts him right in the 50% percentile for weight.  His head was 17" (75%) and lenth was 25 3/4" (also 75%).  For now his stats show him to be pretty long and lean.  He really has a pretty small belly, but I love his little baby chub legs!
