We spent the last week doing some major work around the house. We cleared out a bunch of trash, have a huge Goodwill pile, put away all Christmas gifts, cleaned out the girls' rooms, worked in the nursery, got all Christmas packed up and our house put back together. Whew - lots of work, but I am so, so lucky Justin did the majority of it. :) Of course the rest of us helped, but I just wear out quickly these days. Now, I have time to post about Christmas!
First off, a few more of Simon's spots...
See him?
He was way up on the speaker.
My little helpers.... we were crushing up peppermint for Christmas candy.
Helping Daddy crush crackers...
Our Christmas crafts for Daddy, Opa & Mam!
The Friday before Christmas, Justin was such a sweet daddy and took the girls to work with him. They were incredibly excited and so cute! They packed little snacks and water bottles. They were very behaved and loved coloring with highlighters. I worried they would be shy, but they weren't! They talked to all the office ladies and delivered their Christmas gifts. One of Justin's co-workers brought his dog to the office that day and there was donuts....basically, they think Justin's job is so much fun!
Off to work!
Then it was Christmas Eve...

The girls slept together that night and were so cute waiting together the next morning for permission to come downstairs....
And then it was presents galore!

Now, we have another fun weekend to look forward to. We finally get to celebrate Christmas with Justin's family. The kids have a few more things to open, we have gifts for Sue and Papa John, and the rest of us drew names to find out who we were getting gifts for so we have those left too. We get lots of yummy food and get to meet baby Eli as well. Dylan has a soccer game and then we are headed to Jeff and Angel's where we will also have a Dirty Santa gift exchange with As Seen on TV items. It's going to be exciting!
