Last year my mom gave the girls a little Halloween recipe book and they have obsessed over it ever since. I told them we could start making one thing a week from now until Halloween and they are SO happy! Friday was our first 'project'. They were so proud to show daddy and my parents when they got in town.

Like I mentioned, my parents were in town and we had a really nice weekend. They brought rain with them so Friday night we just went to a good little restaurant by us and pigged out! Saturday morning we were really lazy, went to lunch, watched some football and then Dylan had her first soccer game. It went....okay. She finally showed some aggression the last 4 or so seconds of the game so hopefully that will carry over. Earlier in the game Dylan collided with another player. She got her nose hit really hard. She started crying so hard and it was so sad. This was her first time with an injury like that. I went around to console her and she said, "It hurts so bad; I just want it to stop!" Poor thing. She calmed down pretty quickly and went right back in the game so we were really proud of her for that!
After the game we headed straight to Grapefest. The weather was PERFECT and the girls had a lot of fun on all the rides. I'm glad we got there when we did, because by the time we left it was too crowded. I failed to get any pictures of Opa and Mam, but they were there and were actually the ones treating the girls to all the rides....thank you!
They are still going nuts over these bubble laser guns...and they aren't the only ones. Justin is into the laser too - haha!
