After Adam and Lisa's wedding, a big group of us headed over to John & Tara's lake house for a week. They are always so generous and welcoming. We usually get a break from the heat while we are up there, but this year we brought the Texas heat with us and the temps were in the 100's. If you were outside, it was best to be in the water! And then, I think 9 of us got a bad stomach bug. I threw up something like 30 times in one night and was zapped of energy for about 2 days! NOT FUN! The little girls were all really good, even the ones that threw up. Each couple takes a night to prepare a meal and then we eat at the Club House one dinner. Well this year, the kiddos got to eat lunch at the Club House before going to the pool one day. It was SO funny... as we were leaving town we were going to eat lunch closer in towards the airport. We were driving that way, when Dylan said, "but I want to eat at the Club House!" I guess she enjoyed it! :)
I only had my camera along for two outings so I don't have many pictures from the trip, but here are the ones I do have....

This was actually from when I was up all night sick. It rained that morning, and when I glanced outside I had to take a picture. It was so peaceful out there!

this little one wanted no part of it! She enjoyed looking at them, but didn't want too close.
