We have been SO stinking busy this summer that I have either been out of town or exhausted so blogging hasn't been a top priority. Actually, neither has picture taking!
In early July we drove to Amarillo on a Wednesday.
Here are the girls and a dirt devil we passed on the way...
We stayed the night with my parents then left the girls and Mak in Amarillo with grandparents while we headed to Lubbock for Chad and Amy's wedding weekend. We had SO much fun!
We shared a hotel room with Johnny and Kasey so once we got in town we headed to the pool. Lubbock was HOT, but it was the COLDEST pool I've ever felt! Thursday night was the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner at Stella's. The food was great and the speeches and company were awesome.
This isn't the best picture, but it was the only one I snapped of the dinner. All the 'Tech'sans joined together to sing the school song at the end.
There was a party at Chad's sister-in-law's parent's house that night. It too was beautiful and fun....even for me that wasn't drinking!
Friday we hung out at the pool again. Boys will be boys.

Kasey and I sat in the little kids chairs on the shallow ledge of the water. It was too dang cold to get all the way in!
And that was all the pictures I took the entire weekend! Whoops! Later on Friday we went to their beautiful wedding and then hung out all day Saturday and spent the night Saturday night at Chad & Amy's house. Always a good time!
