Ranch Pictures

Well, my mom surprised me & got vacation pictures up sooner than expected so now I can share some!

Cowgirl Dylan
Cowgirl Savannah
Having fun despite the heat!
This is Shiner.  I fell in love and wanted to bring him home.  Dylan loves him too.  It's hard to tell from the pictures, but he is giant!  I went for a run twice while we were there & loved it...Shiner ran right by my side.
This is Brewster.  Like Shiner, this was my first time meeting him.  He liked to go run with me too, but instead of staying right by my side he liked to veer off the path and either pounce on the horses or Shiner.  He's still a super sweet dog though!
This is Bandit.  He's been around a long time & is such a good boy!  He's actually Brewster's dad.  Bandit had an accident since the last time I'd seen him & lost a leg.  He now kind of hops around which Dylan got a big kick out of.  I kept trying to explain that was the only way he could walk, but it didn't click in her head until the last day we were there when she actually realized he only had 3 legs.  Now she's really concerned for him!
Another funny thing is that we were all sitting around the pool one day just talking and something about the dogs came up.  Of course, we'd been drinking a bit, but my dad was like, "the one legged dog?"  We all nodded yes & continued talking not thinking anything about it until my dad's cousin David pointed out the he has 3 legs, not 1.  We couldn't stop laughing.
Here are the dogs ready to go hunt, or in our case drive around and look at stuff.
Dylan looking for deer.
Missy checking out the horse.
Dylan petting the "pony".
We'd heard stories about the pony getting into everything and once having expired sour cream all over its face.  I was able to get a little proof of the curiousness.
Here he/she/it is trying to get into the oil David fried fish in the night before.
Coming up on the patio with me wondering why I'm not shooing it I guess.
Still keeping an eye on me.
Then forgetting about me & drinking the dogs' water.
Dylan was excited to ride the 4 wheeler and I think Justin was just as excited to take her.  I used to ride 4 wheelers all over the ranch when I was little and have so many fun memories.
Unfortunately, it wasn't working well.  Justin finally got it started and circled around to pick up Dylan, but then it died again about 10 feet from where it started!  Oh well, maybe next time.
We had so much fun at the ranch and the lodge is so beautiful.  I didn't even put pictures of it on here because pictures do not do it justice.  It's a place everyone should go!
