Storms!

It started storming here about 7:00 last night & is still going! We've had tons of rain, thunder & lightning. The thunder this morning was SO loud & it is currently pouring outside. I think poor Mak is going to have a heart attack. He gets so scared of storms (like most dogs) that he shakes. Dylan felt him shaking last night & told me he was cold. :) Anyway the tornado sirens were going off last night so of course that meant it was time for Justin to go outside. The rain was blowing sideways & the news said there was an 84 mph gust recorded. Then they showed an amateur video of a tornado sighting about 2 - 3 miles North of us. Um - unfortunately that is exactly where Jeff & Angel's new house is being built. It's a new neighborhood & several of the houses are being framed. Jeff & Angel went to check it out last night & this is what they found:

LUCKILY, this was not there house. I think there was about 3 houses that looked like this & theirs looks okay. Justin tried to drive by it this morning, but couldn't get into the neighborhood due to what he said was about 4 feet of water in the road. Sounds like they are going to have to fix the roads too! I think we escaped damage & it appears the worst thing in our neighborhood is downed trees & flooding. Hopefully the worst is behind us!
