A SUCCESS! Savannah slept over 11 hours last night in her new crib. She wakes up to eat, but then goes back to sleep. I was afraid she would get upset when I put her in her crib & walked out, but she did just fine!
Above is a leg of the new crib. The detail in this line of furniture is great. Below is the new vs. old. It's definitely different, but that's what we wanted. We figured that since we had the opportunity to get free furniture we should change it up. We chose this particular crib because it looked nice when converted to a full size bed & not so obviously a crib. Savannah may have this until she moves out of our house!
At Savannah's two month appointment I discussed with the doctor why she was still in the bassinet & told her I felt bad because it seemed like she was out of room. When I wake in the morning her head is smashed at the end. The doctor said that it could just be her & not the surroundings - that it can be a comfort factor for some babies. Looks like that is the case!
