Last week we spent our vacation at Justin's Aunt & Uncle's lake house in Illinois. We took off the Thursday before, drove through the night & arrived early in the morning. It was a 16 hour drive - ugh. It was definitely worth it though because we had a wonderful trip. It was a nice break from all the heat & it was fun to hang out with family. I think we were all camera happy. We combined all the pictures on our computer & there was 670 of them! Below are just a few...
Oh ya - even Mak made the trip. I was worried about him taking off because he is not used to so much freedom, but he did great. Well, except for the occasional attitude problem. I found him once at the edge of the neighbors beach area & couldn't resist throwing him in. Then, I kept doing it because Dylan thought it was the funniest thing she'd ever seen!

We tried to set up a barricade to keep the two little ones on the carpet in the living room & away from the stairs. Several times they'd both escape at the same time. Here's Savannah making her break.

It was a beautiful, relaxing trip!!
