Yesterday we had Savannah's 9 month appointment (10 days late). She is just a mess & couldn't sit still for 2 seconds. She's very mobile these days & just wants to be a big girl. Savannah is suddenly not sleeping as well as she was, but the doctor said this was normal due to her teething & her really hitting the age of separation anxiety. I think both of these are definitely the case with Savannah. She's got 4 teeth & I think 2 more are very close to popping through. Never in her life has she been a cuddler, but now all of a sudden she will fall asleep on people and she wants to be with us during the night. I have to admit that I love the fact that she wants me to hold her now...even at the cost of a bad nights sleep! She's also not into baby food anymore. She just wants to eat normal food like us. I got the go ahead from the doctor to switch her from baby food so after she finishes up what's in the cabinet we are done! She's not walking yet, but we have caught her standing in the middle of the room with nothing around to push up on so she's starting to get her balance down. We'll have to wait & see how long it takes her to figure out she can do it! She still only says mama & hi, but she's working on dada.
