Grapefest

Today was quite a busy day. After church we swung by Grapefest and then to the grocery store. It was nap time at the store so in effort to avoid a cranky kid, we gave in & got the fancy cart at Tom Thumb. They are near impossible to steer, but Daddy toughed it out. She was happy as could be watching her Dora in the cart. She did reach through & grab some Spongebob fruit snacks off a shelf & even got them open!
Grapefest was good. I love letting Dylan experience new things. Here she is 'fishing'. She won a prize, but she didn't get that it was hers to keep. She kept throwing it back at the workers!

We couldn't resist getting her face painted. We opted for the Mardi Gras mask. She was VERY serious the whole time her face was being painted.

The painter showed her the finished product in a mirror when she finished & Dylan couldn't stop staring at herself. As soon as we got in the truck, she grabbed this toy cell phone, which has a mirror on it. She couldn't get enough.
I had to include this picture because it kills me. I'm really not as big as I appear ... am I?

We got there pretty early so the animals were a little wild and Dylan was scared at first. She was okay as long as I was holding her. She even worked up the courage to pet a few of them.
The bunnies were her favorite.
