In August, we had our first ever garage sale. It was so much work!!! We had tons of stuff which was a good thing because we made lots of money. The bad part is we had tons of stuff. Haha! We had so much it was difficult for people to sort through and we ended up with a lot left. I'm still trying to get rid of it little by little.
Mandi, Sally and I worked to garage sale Friday morning with all the kids, trying to help them run a lemonade stand and had basically no business. Friday = fail!
Saturday morning was packed! We had people all over the place, but Dylan had a basketball game which Justin took her to while I stayed and worked. Shortly after they got home I took all 3 kids to a birthday party while Justin stayed home to work the garage sale. When I got home from the party, I found Justin, Mandi, Jason, Eric, Sally and Randy done selling and sitting in the driveway drinking. Haha! We still had another birthday party to take Dylan to that day, but we were DONE. We talked Dylan into skipping the party so we could all go to Sally and Randy's (Mandi's parents) to swim. It was a perfect day to end a crazy day!!
They were beyond adorable working hard on their sign.
We invited their friends Ryanne and Ian down and they had a blast.
Dylan and Adam weren't interested in the water at the bday party so they hung out and ate while Savannah went nuts running around, making new friends!
