CABO!!!

At the end of May, Justin and I were lucky enough to sneak off to Mexico (thanks Mom & Dad for babysitting!).  We chose Cabo San Lucas and LOVED it!  Unfortunately, we had a LONG, uncomfortable time getting there, but as soon as we landed in Cabo we were all smiles!
We of course grabbed 2 beers each for the van ride to the hotel.  I thought it was so funny that there was a bottle holder.
The backside of the hotel has a huge open bar with a view of the famous rock formation - my favorite!
No zoom shot - so pretty!
Since it took us so long to get there we missed out on the pool the first day.  We got changed and headed to town...but not without a drink first!  ;)

We got up ready for some pool time.  At past all inclusives we've been to, the chairs get reserved early so we assumed it'd be the same.  We were surprised to find that no one got up early at this resort!  We'd get up, eat breakfast and get to the pool by 10 or so and be the first people there.  What's even crazier is that there'd be no bars open.  Justin was sweet enough to run to the 24 hour bar though - no judging!  We were on vacation! Hahaha!
Something I loved about this resort is that the pool was right over the beach.  I'm a pool girl so I don't always see a lot of the ocean, but it was perfect to be able to enjoy both...And even see the rocks from the pool!

 Lunch break.
We took a glass bottom boat out around the rock formation and it was so much fun.  Looking through the dirty glass wasn't all that great, but the ride itself was awesome!

They pointed out that this one looks like Scooby's head.

There were several sea lions swimming and sun bathing.
This is when we were at the southern most point of Baja California.... pretty cool!

And here we were in the Pacific Ocean.  Although the view wouldn't be the same, I think it'd be nice to stay in one of the new resorts on this side sometime.
As we were cruising back to the marina we saw a guy using a jet pack - crazy!
Justin was obsessed with this yacht.

One day we took a water taxi over to town to shop and to eat lunch at The Office.
 Looking back at our resort.

Shoots anyone?

Lunchtime at The Office.  It was awesome!!

This was the resort's courtyard at night.  It was really beautiful and we were sad to say goodbye!!
This trip was just the escape we needed.  We had a blast!!!
