It's tough to believe our Dylan is already four years old! She continues to be such a sweet little girl with only a few moments of sassiness. She loves her little sister and teaches her all kinds of things! Dylan is still into her music and recently discovered the Boomerang channel. All of a sudden she's obsessed with the cartoons we watched as kids...Flinstone's, Jetson's and Scooby Doo!
Her four year appointment was a sad one. She had to get five shots and was SO upset. She weighed 38 lbs (72%) and was 3'5.8" tall (89%). The doctor gave us a few things to start working with her on including knowing my phone number, our address and tying her shoes!! She's definitely not a baby anymore!
Last week was super busy preparing for Thanksgiving, but we had such a wonderful time. We are so lucky to have family that travels here and is so much fun. Thanksgiving turned out great and was only the kick start to the weekend. Friday for lunch Dylan got to take her special trip to American Girl with Sue to pick out her big doll, clothes and accessories and to have lunch. We had Dylan's Strawberry Shortcake party Saturday at noon. She got to pick the menu and everyone was happy with her choice - Justin's spaghetti, garlic bread and salad! All the kids were so good all weekend.
Dylan of course got so much stuff for her birthday. She practically got a new wardrobe, which comes in very handy. She got all kinds of great toys and movies that kept them pretty busy the rest of the day. I think she had a great birthday!!
