Packing Week

This week has been a very different one for us.  First off, Sue has been in town since Sunday and will be here until next Thursday.  She is here to help out Jeff and Angel.  Angel hopes to have baby boy any day now and in the mean time Jeff is busy traveling for work and Cameron has started Kindergarten and soccer!  Lucky us because we are reaping the benefits of Sue being here too!  Not only are we getting a taste of having a local grandparent, but we've had lots of yummy food (even at lunch!) and I've had help with the girls.
The help couldn't have come at a better time since I've been busy this week unpacking and doing laundry from our trip as well as packing up the whole apartment.  When we moved in we felt like we weren't bringing much stuff with us, but as I'm packing it up it seems like we have tons of stuff!  It's been a bit frustrating living in a disaster zone.  It seems like if I take a few minutes to pack up a box the girls have made a huge mess somewhere!  Soon I'm bound to have packed up enough stuff to prevent some of the messes!
Saturday morning we have our final walk through of our house to find any nit-picky things we want fixed.  Luckily we will actually be able to concentrate as we are leaving the girls with Sue at Cameron's first soccer game.  Go Cameron!  Then, we will also be able to be little girl free at our closing on Tuesday.  Tuesday night we plan to load up as many cars as possible to move all the stuff we don't want the movers moving.  Same thing on Wednesday if necessary.  Then Thursday morning the movers are clearing out the rest of the apartment into the house!  Sue has offered to keep the girls through all this too - thank you so much Sue!!
Sue goes home Thursday evening, but my parents are driving in to bring a few things from Amarillo, bring Mak and help us with the girls over the weekend while we attempt to unpack.  I can't believe we are so close to be residents of Ft. Worth!

As I unpacked our suitcase from vacation Savannah decided it was a great little bed.  She got the blanket on her own, but sweet Dylan brought her a pillow.  Ha!
An example of the messes they have been making!
This is something I wanted to get a picture of before we move.  Dylan loves to race up the stairs, back up against the wall, and pretend to be a statue until we get the apartment door open.  Just recently Savannah has decided to join her although she's not as still!  ;)
