Savannah turned one on Saturday. She's officially a big girl! Time has flown by!!
At her one year old appointment she weighed 20 lbs even. That puts her in the 25% for weight. She was 30.25 inches tall which is the 80% and her head was 18", or 75%. I know she's filled out and that she's not the boney baby she used to be, but considering her head must weigh quite a bit she's still a skinny little baby. We'll just have to wait and see how tall the girls end up being. At Dylan's 1 year appointment she was 30" tall, but Justin & I never trust their measurements so who knows.
Savannah loves to dance! She is actually dancing right now in the middle of the room as Dylan runs circles around her. She's currently a really rough little girl. She constantly chases Dylan and tackles her. The girls always wrestle. If Dylan is sitting or laying on the floor that is Savannah's cue to pounce!
She has seven teeth now. She got that seventh one about a week ago and she struggled with it for a little while. You can see the eighth one is close so we will see how that goes.
Savannah has become very silly. She gets this little ornery look on her face and knows exactly what she's doing. Her only words right now are mama, dada and hi. She's getting better about drinking out of a sippy cup, but still uses a bottle to calm down at night. We got to turn her car seat around. I'm not used to both of them sitting side by side looking at me when I turn around!
Savannah got to open her first birthday gifts the other day.
It is practically impossible for Dylan to let her open them on her own.
She got to open a gift at Jeff & Angel's, but decided to run off with the tissue paper instead.
Then she got a birthday cookie cake & thoroughly enjoyed it.
